Job 2: Boiler annual tune-up, Commack. Gas hot water boiler in a 1968 colonial — pre-season service included cleaning burner assembly, checking heat exchanger, testing pressure and temperature relief valve, and adjusting aquastat. Found a small gas valve leak at the supply connection; repaired it on the spot.
Job 3: Bathroom drain clearing, Commack. Master bath tub drain was draining very slowly. Snaked the tub trap and drum drain, cleared a combination of hair and soap buildup. Also cleared the sink drain in the same bathroom while we were there.
Job 4: Toilet fill valve replacement, Commack. Running toilet in a downstairs half bath — fill valve was worn and leaking past the flapper seat. Replaced the fill valve and flapper. Customer had been running the toilet non-stop for weeks.

Job 6: Kitchen faucet replacement, Commack. Customer had purchased a new pull-down faucet and wanted it installed. Replaced the faucet and the original 1970s compression supply stops while we were under the sink. New stops, new supply lines, new faucet.
Job 7: Gas line pressure test, Commack. Customer smelled gas faintly near the basement utility room. Tested the gas line at the appliance connections — found a slow leak at the dryer connector. Replaced the flexible gas connector and retested. No further gas odor.
Job 8: Sump pump service, Commack. Pre-storm season pump inspection — float switch was sticking and not activating the pump reliably. Replaced the float switch assembly. Also cleaned the pit of accumulated debris that was interfering with float travel.
